Our Biochar is probably the cleanest in the market, being made directly from green wood sourced from sustainable British woodlands. Its manufactured using our own kiln technology and graded so that it can be used for different applications.

Our retort uses Pyrolysis to convert the wood into Biochar, heating the mass to 350 deg C but not above 490 deg C whilst recycling the gases back to the kiln, makes our  Biochar the greenest created by using all of the gases emitted in this low-carbon process. We haven’t forgotten the time-honoured traditional approach of making Biochar, we have just improved the craft.

We currently produce Biochar in 4 grades depending on its size.
